Hey, Mr. Lerangis! I was wondering what's gonna happen in the third book of Cahills vs Vespers? I know you said on the message board that you can't give out any secrets, but i'm dying to know. I'm pretty sure that Natalie will be the first to go free, because of Isabel being a Vesper. And Ian is the tratior. Am I right?

Hi, Hannah!  As you can see on the message below, my every move is being scrutinized by highly trained hackers determined to keep me quiet.  So what I said on the Message Board, alas, must stand.

Hi Mr.Lerangis I am a big fan of yours! I just had a question. Uh without further ado (or however you spell that.) I just want to let you know that i'm a fan girl of Amy and Ian, and I just wanted to know, do you support them being together like dating in the books?
Love,
River Holt Starling Cahill

Oh, and Sylvester's band is band the Silver Clan.
Admin Reply:
Ah. so now I understand the Silver/Sylvester paradox.  Great!
Angelica wrote on November 22, 2011 at 4:27 PM
The series is about a silver cat named Sylvester who is trying to dominate against a bigger, meaner, cat named Onix and his 2 cats/slaves. And Sylvester forms a band of 7 cats (including himself) to try and stop Onix. (there's a lot mr detale I won't tell u about)

Thanks 4 the advise!

I have an inference on the next Cahill verses Vesper book and I'll like your opinion on it if you don't mind answering. Are the prisoners, Nellie, Fiske, Reagan, Phoenix, Natalie, Ned, and Allistar, in Mexico? I recognized the word Moda on the tag on page 108 of the Medusa Plot and found out it means fashion in Spanish. Am I on to something?
Admin Reply:
That’s some careful sleuthing indeed, but if I told you the secret, I might be kidnapped myself!

Hi Peter! How's it going! I love talking to fellow Janus... Kevin gave me a gift! I can't believe I haven't read his post before I got the gift! He bought me a 50% Book Store voucher! What was that about your brother...?
Admin Reply:
Nice!  A perfect gift.  Now you’re giving me ideas for my bro.

I'm wrighting a new serise of 7 bks, what do u like better, "The Silvester Serise" or "The Silver Series?"

Angelica
Admin Reply:
Hi, Angelica.  Well, it depends on what the series is about.  In general, I like Sylvester better.

Thank you for answereing my question. I think it is very thoughtful of you to take time out of your day to answer our questions. I asked about the llamas because i am curently in the middle of a llama obsesion (you can blame the girl scout camp's crazy songs for that). If you can't answer my first question here, then perhaps i should read faster so i can find out for myself. Thanks again.
P.S. I am so very happy that a famous person actualy acknowledges my exsisatnce, especialy because he is another Janus.
Admin Reply:
My pleasure, fellow Janus.  Good luck with the llamas.

Hola, Peter!

Question:
You mentioned that something really unexpected is going to happen, like unexpected that if you have a drink you would do a spit take? Does it has something to do with... Amy or Evan or Ian?

And is Arthur Trent alive EVEN though he is suppose to be dead?

And now I am going to learn for that religions that is tomorrow... Macht kein Spaß...
Have fun writing 😀

Eli

I love the 39 clues!!! Why did you say that the title is classified but you said on the 39 clues website you announced that is was THE DEAD OF NIGHT?
Admin Reply:
Hi, Jess.  Glad you like the books.  I probably said the title was classified a while ago, before the official announcement.  Once I announced it, it was no longer classified!

Hey Peter !

First of all, You are a-w-e-s-o-m-e. And 39 clues is really a great series. I Can't wait for the next books! (and more books from you !) I still remember the sword thief and all the cheesy-ness i felt while reading it. That page 123 and all those adventures in that book... the best ! Can't wait for the Dead of night (I wonder if there will be amy and Ian..... ). Wait, do you like number 3? You're book is always the 3rd one 😀

I wanted to say more but i don't know how am I going to say it! XD
So Bye for now....
Take care!

P.S. : keep on posting messages on the39clues.com ! XD

Hello, Auber!  Thanks very much!  Yes, I do keep getting those coveted Number 3 slots (although my story in VESPERS RISING was second).  I like it because by the third book all the establishing stuff has been taken care of, and I get to dig in with the plot and characters to my heart’s content!  Whatever you do, don’t tell Rick, Gordon, or Jude that I said that (hee hee)!

Hi Mr. Peter,
Honestly the first story I read by you was SPY X (Hide and Seek). It was really good and all the details were soo realistic since I'm done with it I'm preparing to read your next book because I can't wait to find out if Andrew and Evie ever find their mother til then.

Hi, Rochelle!  Glad you’re liking SPY X.  Let me know what you think of the ending!

Well, i'd have to actualy farther than book 2, one false note, to have many questions, but i do have one.
WHY DID THE VESPERS CHOOSE THE CAHILLS THEY CHOOSE TO KIDNAP?
OH AND I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION FOR YOU, FELLOW JANUS AGENT, DO YOU LIKE LLAMAS?
Admin Reply:
Hi, Grace!  Well, I can’t answer the first question for fear of reprisals from the Vespers, but as for the second: I do like llamas!  They are pretty cute.  Although a llama once sneaked up behind me and began licking my ear, which was awfully strange.  (At least he didn’t bite!)

Hey, Mr. Lerangis! I'm an avid reader of the 39 Clues Series and the Cahills vs. Vespers series and a huge fan of all the authors that write them. Looking to the future, I realize that one day the Cahills vs. Vespers series will be over (It's sad but all good things must come to and end). That being said, my question is, Do you have any projects planned for after this series is over? Thanks for you time!
Admin Reply:
Thanks very much for your kind words about the two series.  You bet I have plans!  In February, Simon & Schuster will publish my YA novel, SOMEBODY, PLEASE TELL ME WHO I AM, about a soldier who returns home from Iraq with total memory loss.  Then comes THE DEAD OF NIGHT, of course, and a few months later a new trilogy with the tentative title PERFECT.  There’s something else in the pipeline, too, which I’m extremely excited about, but I can’t yet reveal what it is, so keep you eyes out for an announcement soon!

Hi, Mr. Lerangis!
I love your books; they're totally awesome. Will you be coming to Fairborn, Ohio (just outside of Dayton), anytime soon? Because if you are, like, when Book 3 comes out (18 days after my birthday including Leap Day), I totally want to meet you!
Thank you, and God bless.

Hi, Kelly!  I will be doing some touring in March/April, but I don’t have a schedule of locations yet.  Please keep an eye on this website and also the 39 Clues website (including the Message Board, of course).  The moment we know, we will post to those places first!  Thanks for asking.

Dear Mr. Lerangis, This is a story i wrote last year when i was 9. Please read it. Can you give me some comments on it. [pl-popup content="http://peterlerangis.com/fan-stories/story-2/#top" title="" width="1000" height="640"]Here it is[/pl-popup].

P.S. It's not that good compared to my new UNFINISHED story. I'll send it to you in a while. Bye
Admin Reply:
Hi, Brooks!  Well, you certainly have a flair for adventure and exotic locales!  I think it’s just great, especially for a nine-year-old.  I see good things ahead.  Definitely keep on writing and immersing yourself in the mysteries of ancient cultures, just as you’re doing.
(By the way, as you can see, I’ve re-configured the story into a popup of its own, just to conserve space on the guestbook.)
