is there any way we can share our short 39 clues stories with you?i have 6 i wish to show you
Admin Reply:
Hello, Isaiah.  I can post your stories if you like, but with the tour coming up, I won’t have the time to read stories, alas.  But if you want feedback, your best bet is to post them to the Cahill Message Boards.

Hello again, Sir Lerangis! I've decoded something out of the Shatterproof cover. It says there "Magellan". And Magellan discovered the Philippines accidentally, right? Me and my co-members in our official organization, the Cahill Philippines became sooo excited after decoding this. I sure hope that Dan, Amy and the others would go to the Philippines in the next books!

P.S. Could I ask you to mail me an autographed picture of you? Thanks in advance! More power to you! 🙂

Hello, Reneilda!  You will need to send a mailing address to info@peterlerangis.com.

hey!

I read Chris's earlier post about the card pack. Humm where have I seen the name 'Magellan’ from? Oh I remember history class. Yeah I've been learning about the 'Age Of Discovery' in history and I'm interested if it has something to do with the story. (I know you probably aren’t allowed to tell but I just wanted to get it out there.)

Monica - Out.

Hi, Monica!  We will all soon find out!

Hello again sir peter..its me..xD (i have to confess..im also Delacroix..sorry for the pseudonym..xC)

isn't "Veseynepr e vrtigsseeh" an anagram for

VESPERS SEE EVERYTHING??
Admin Reply:
Yes!  (Also “Thieves Spy Evergreens,” “Hype Regressive Events,” “Seven Preserves Eighty,” “Eighty Vespers’ Veneers,” “Every Vesper’s Seething,” “Hey, It Revenges Vespers,” “Thy Serene Vespers Give,” “Vesper Eyesights Nerve” “Ivy? He’s Greenest Vesper.”)

Hey Peter!
I'm guessing volcano...and is it possible that Erasmus went MIA during the eruption? Or no, Jonah's fans came first and THEY were also caught in the eruption. Something like that.
And also, are you by any chance coming to Canada? I think it's a bit unfair when we Canadians get all excited when it says you're "coming to a place near you" and it turns out to be USA only. Oh well. At least my cousins will be excited...
Admin Reply:
I love going to Canada and have been there twice on visits related to the 39 CLUES.  Scholastic has an office in Toronto and in 2010 sponsored a contest whose winners had dinner with Gordon Korman and me.  And Gordon is Canadian so has visited quite a bit.  We love Canada!  Alas, the tour can’t go everywhere, but you never know about the future....
Chris wrote on February 23, 2012 at 6:51 AM
Peter, please help. Ian Kabra posted a message a while back called "in my defense" on the message board, including the code "Veseynepr e vrtigsseeh" and we agents have come up with so many ideas. We are sure that it is an anagram, but we're worried we are missing something important. Can you please clarify what the message was meant to be??????
Admin Reply:
Well, it sure is an odd puzzle.  The first word contains the letters for VESPER, with an EYN left over.  The middle is a random E, and the last word anagrams to GET SHIVERS.  What do you think?
Elizabeth Atya wrote on February 23, 2012 at 2:48 AM
Does it ever get tiring going to different places on tour?
Admin Reply:
Hello, Elizabeth.  No, I love it!  It’s incredibly energizing.

Hi again! Welcome back! It seems Amazon is planning ahead and calling the Cahills Vs. Vespers Card Pack 2 "The Magellan Heist." Is this true?
Admin Reply:
Thanks for the welcome, Chris.  Yes, that title is correct!

Hi Peter! I was wandering, are you coming to South or North Carolina anytime soon? or EVER! I hope you do (preferrably Florence,S.C Barnes and Noble)
haha Well please reply

Admin Reply:
Hello, Marykk.  Alas, I visited North Carolina in 2010, so this tour is going to new places.  But, as I’ve been writing to others, please know that I do visit schools often, even when I’m not on a book tour. You may want to suggest an author visit to your teacher or librarian. They can set this up by clicking on the Author Visits link above.

Do you ever come to michigan? I live about an hour north of grand rapids. Its beautiful up here. Also there is no snow right now!!! It's really sunny too!
Admin Reply:
Hi, Maddie.  I was in Michigan briefly in 2009 and would like very much to return someday.  Michigan is not on this tour itinerary, but as I mentioned to some Guestbook messagers below, I visit schools often, even when I’m not on a book tour. You may want to suggest an author visit to your teacher or librarian. They can set this up by clicking on the Author Visits link above!

Also can't wait to see whats gonna get Eramus, Hamilton and Jonah first, the volcano or Rabid Fans 😀
Admin Reply:
Hello, Bettina!  Yes, a Blue Fire roller-coaster ride it is!  Can’t wait for people to start reading it.  Thanks for writing.

Hi again Peter, why did they kill Mac towards the end of The King's Ransom?
Admin Reply:
Hello, Ariel.  The Vespers are desperate to get something that they believed Mac had.  You’ll find out more in THE DEAD OF NIGHT!
Aria wrote on February 22, 2012 at 9:26 AM
I really hope you haven't killed off Cheyenne Wyoming, she was the best character ever
Admin Reply:
Hi, Aria!  You will see quite a bit of Cheyenne and her brother in THE DEAD OF NIGHT!

You’re welcome, Argie!  And hello to you and all our great fans in the Philippines!
Argie wrote on February 22, 2012 at 5:10 AM
good day sir,

can i ask a question?

can you tell us how many page will the CvV3: The Dead of Night be??

because i heard (or read) from some other site that it will be the thickest book on the series..thicker than TCH10: Into The Gauntlet..

can you clarify this for us..thanks in advance..
Admin Reply:
Hello, Argie!  Nope, it’s the same length as A KING’S RANSOM, about 192 pages or so.  There was some incorrect info posted to one of the bookselling sites, and I think that’s how the rumors got started.

I just looked at your tour schedule and since it's not final, I wanted to make a suggestion. Would it be possible for you to come closer to Denver? It seems you never get closer than an 8 hr drive. I need to be able to convince my dad to drive there, but I doubt I could convince him to drive more than 2-3 hours.
Admin Reply:
Hello, Annemarie!  Oh, how I would love to go to Denver.  I do have family and friends there!  Unfortunately, Kansas City, Omaha, and Salt Lake City are probably the closest I will be.  But I do visit schools often, even when I’m not on a book tour. You may want to suggest an author visit to your teacher or librarian. They can set this up by clicking on the Author Visits link above.

Admin Reply:
Yes, please feel free to send it to me with a stamped, self-addressed envelope c/o George Nicholson, Sterling Lord Literistic, 65 Bleecker Street, NY, NY 10012.  But please know that I probably will not have a chance to see my mail until the tour is over, meaning early May!

Hi Peter, I have a question, are you going to visit Ohio in the future for your book tours?
Admin Reply:
I ♥ Ohio!  (My son goes to college there.)  Alas, I visited the Columbus and Cincinnati areas in 2010, so I’m being sent to other places.  But I do visit schools often, even when I’m not on a book tour.  You may want to suggest an author visit to your teacher or librarian. They can set this up by clicking on the Author Visits link above.
