Thanks, Juan -- let's keep our eyes open for Books 9 & 10 and see what the other authors have done. And if not, I will keep this in mind for my own books in the future!

Hi, Kami! Sure, I remember you! Thanks for the kind words; it really was my pleasure to visit your school. Thanks too for the offer. At the moment I have about six books I need to write before I start thinking of new ideas, so why not use one of your great ideas to begin writing a story of your own? I'll bet you would do very, very well!

I'm in Red Bluff and heading soon to the Barnes & Noble in Chico, where I will sign all my books they have in stock. Which means if anyone wants to have a signed copy, that's the place to go!

Thank you, Nancy! Funny, but most of my nightmares are pretty silly -- I dream that I can't remember where I parked my car, or someone stole it. I wake up and my heart is pounding, and then I realize what a ridiculous dream it was! Yes, New York City is huge -- 8 million people! I live in an apartment building 19 stories high, and it's not even considered a very big building at all, not even close to the biggest building in my neighborhood. It's a fun place with lots of things to do. I will be sure to say hi to my wife and my sons from you, and I know they will enjoy hearing the story of my visit. I will always remember my great trip to Olive View! I've made a page that has some photos of me and other in NYC, but you'll have to paste this into your browser to see them: http://www.peterlerangis.com/PL_in_NYC

Hmmm. Every day I think I have a new favorite! The one that pops to my mind right now is Holes by Louis Sachar. It's awesome. But if you ask me tomorrow, I may have a different answer!
